Weekly Preview: 23. - 27.8.

The last festival week begins! Two luminaries of Spanish flamenco are with us: dancer Israel Galván and musician Niño de Elche bring "Mellizo Doble" to the stage with great passion and overflowing energy (22.-23.8., Haus der Berliner Festspiele).

Experimental and impulsive continues with Faye Driscoll, who explores the body in a state of love and in a state of loss (24.-27.8., Radialsystem). Adam Linder combines ballet with modern and abstract elements, bringing a new perspective to movement language steeped in tradition (25.-26.8., HAU2). Bruno Beltrão / Grupo de Rua show in their new piece "New Creation" expressively with high jumps, turns and kicks how violent and social conflicts can be brought to the stage (26.+27.8., Haus der Berliner Festspiele). Trajal Harrell and the Schauspielhaus Zürich Dance Ensemble dedicate themselves to Keith Jarrett's legendary Cologne Concert - inspired by the ballroom scene, sad, sensual and moments of abandonment will be on display (26.+27.8., HAU1).

Cristina Caprioli / ccap present "Haze", the last part of the retrospective ONCE OVER TIME (24.-27.8., HAU3). Those who would like to learn more about Cristina Caprioli will have several opportunities to do so in our audience formats:
