La Partida

Duration 60 min

Could contemporary dance be as popular as football? And how do they differ from one another? In her prizewinning humorous piece “La Partida”, the Catalan choreographer devotes herself to football. She has five dancers and five football players come together in a game that investigates both structures, but in the end follows its own rules. Together with the audience she celebrates the passion for sport and art. Vero Cendoya’s diverse artistic works frequently confront dance with other fields: with hip-hop, for example, with visual art or poetry.
