Ricardo Carmona remains Artistic Director of Tanz im August until 2027

After the proposal was unanimously welcomed by the Supervisory Board, Annemie Vanackere, artistic director and managing director of HAU Hebbel Ufer, and Ricardo Carmona have extended the existing contract, which appoints Carmona as Artistic Director of the International Festival Tanz im August, until 2027.

Under Carmonas artistic direction, Tanz im August can already look back on two successful festival editions, each of which attracted a very wide and diverse audience of over 17.000 visitors with ticket sales at 98 percent.
