La Veronal

Pasionaria

Duration 75 min

A passion denotes both action and stasis, suffering and joy, love and death. In “Pasionaria” Marcos Morau seeks the common theme that links these very different forces, and at the same time examines their varied meanings. The Spanish choreographer and his company La Veronal became well known for their narrative power and interdisciplinary approach. In their new production they get to the bottom of what makes human beings human, and what is marginalised by science and morality: our wishes and desires, dreams and passions.
